LP LocalPrivate Tools Open App

FAQ

Tiny answers for large privacy questions.

Does no-upload mean the page never makes network requests?

No. The App may load static assets, WASM, model weights, payment pages, and license metadata. The promise is that user files, parsed content, SQL results, redaction previews, chunks, embeddings, and Q&A context are not sent out.

Is the license stored locally sensitive?

No. The license contains the unified Pro SKU, purchaser identifier, major version, issue date, and signature metadata. It should not contain file content or analysis results.

Do you support cloud AI APIs or BYO API keys?

No. The product direction avoids cloud AI processing and BYO-key flows for user content.

Can Redactor guarantee zero misses?

No. It uses rules, context, confirmation, and reports, but users should still review output before sharing sensitive material.

Will scanned PDFs work in Review Desk?

Not in the planned launch scope. OCR is explicitly out of scope; text-based PDFs are the target.

Is this an enterprise private deployment product?

No. The launch strategy is self-serve Pro access, not enterprise private deployment or custom delivery.
