Refund Policy
Last updated: May 22, 2026
7-day refund policy for LocalPrivate Tools, including eligibility, abuse handling, Creem processing, and license revocation after refund.
Summary
We want customers to be able to try LocalPrivate Tools with a clear refund path. Our standard policy is a 7-day refund window from the date of purchase.
This policy does not limit rights you may have under applicable consumer law. Where applicable law or payment-network rules require a different outcome, those rules control.
Refund window
- You may request a refund within 7 days after purchase.
- The refund window starts on the date and time the order is completed.
- Refund requests should include the purchase email, order id, product SKU, and a short reason so we can improve the product.
Eligible purchases
The policy applies to one-time purchases of Local PII Redactor, Local Data Workbench, PrivateDocs AI, or the LocalPrivate Tools Suite.
Abuse and denial reasons
We may deny or review a refund request where there is clear evidence of abuse, fraud, chargeback misuse, public license sharing, attempts to bypass device limits, abnormal activation patterns, or violation of the Terms or License Terms.
Because the App is designed not to upload user content, refund review should be based on order records, license metadata, device metadata, support evidence, and other non-content information.
How refunds are processed
Payments and refund processing are handled through Creem. Creem may process refunds, chargebacks, disputes, tax adjustments, and payment-provider requirements through its own systems.
Original payment processing fees, currency conversion, bank timing, tax handling, and card-network procedures may affect how the refund appears on your statement.
After a refund
- The license will be marked as refunded or revoked.
- The App may continue to work offline until the next license status sync, but you must stop using paid features after the refund is granted.
- On the next online sync, refunded or revoked licenses will be disabled.
- You may keep files that you created before the refund, but you may not continue using the paid software features after the license is revoked.
Chargebacks
Please contact support before starting a chargeback. Chargebacks may lead to license suspension or revocation while the dispute is reviewed. Creem and the payment networks may control the final dispute process.
