Workflow
- Drop a .log or .txt file into Local PII Redactor.
- Scan for API keys, tokens, JWTs, DB URLs, private key blocks, and password fields.
- Review the rule name, confidence, line position, and suggested action for every match.
- Confirm matches, undo mistakes, then export a redacted file and risk report.
Important notes
- The app should not upload log content.
- Rules are helpful, but users still need to review matches before sharing externally.
